About Aly

On Saturday, August 14, 2021, Aly Feely of Eagle was crowned Miss Idaho High School America 2022 at the Special Event Center at Boise State University.  Aly is currently a Junior at Eagle High School.  Aly is a member of National Honor Society; she is dually enrolled at CWI and Boise State University taking college classes.  Aly is a native Idahoan and has grown up in the Treasure Valley.   The activity that Aly loves most is competitive cheerleading.  This year marks her ninth season.  She is a member of Idaho Cheer’s Senior Level 3 team the Rubies.  Aly loves the Miss High School America Pageant and has held the title of Miss Idaho Junior High School 2019 and now Miss Idaho High School 2021-2022.  In 2019 Aly was new to the pageant world.  Walking in heals was a foreign concept and speaking in public and in an interview was terrifying.  However, as Miss Idaho Junior High and now Miss Idaho High she has overcome her fears and encourages other girls to get out of their comfort zone and try the pageant.  With the help of an awesome director and amazing sister queens she quickly learned the ropes.  They will help you as well if you want to enter.

Aly enjoys sharing the national platform of BRAVE with students and girl scout troops.  B.R.A.V.E stands for — BUILDING RESPECT AND VALUES FOR EVERYONE.  Aly believes that you must first respect yourself and your own values before you can ask others to do the same.  Peer pressure is something almost all young people face, and her belief is that when students have respect and values that they feel and believe they can stand up for those beliefs.  B.R.A.V.E also encourages kindness and a way to prevent bullying.  Aly recently experienced cyberbullying from a girl she didn’t really know.  It was difficult but with the help of family and good friends she realized that she is not alone in the struggle people face with bullying.  She encourages others to lead with kindness and seek out help from trusted family and friends if someone experiences bullying.

Aly has spoken to over 300 kids in her area and shared the message of B.R.A.V.E.  Aly will represent Idaho in the National Miss High School America Pageant in June. She plans on continuing to teach everyone she knows how to be B.R.A.V.E. during the National competition.  The delegates will be scored in three categories - an individual interview with judges (40%), Evening Gown (40%) and fun fashion (20%). The Miss High School America Scholarship Pageant Organization was started in 2009, for the purpose of providing personal and professional opportunities for young women. It is our goal to provide outstanding junior high, high school and collegiate girls the opportunity to compete in a prestigious national level scholarship pageant.
